Improved Racing's C5 Corvette oil and transmission temp sensor is functions identically to the factory sensor, but uses the more common 1/8" NPT threads and features an extended wire harness for convenience.
The factory C5 Corvette oil temp sensor has M12 threads, which is not compatible with most aftermarket oil cooler adapters and sensor blocks. This custom unit features the same resistance curve as the factory unit for accurate temperature readings with the factory gauge, but is compatible with any oil cooler adapter or sensor block that accepts an 1/8" NPT sensor. If you're installing an oil cooler on a C5 Corvette, this is the sensor to use!
This sensor can also be used to replace the factory transmission sensor if relocating the sensor to a 1/8" NPT port. It will retain the factory function of the factory gauge and plugs right into the factory wiring harness.
