Bought this to provide supplemental Oil cooling on an LS1 when I fiited the Melling 10296 Oil Pump (Fitted the Standard Pressure Spring to the Melling Oil Pump) - I used AN-10 fittings to join it all together.
At the same time, I fitted the Improved Racing Oil Cooler Thermostat, and I put on a higher capacity water pump.
The Engine Temp stays rock solid at just above a quarter under all conditions (even when the outside temp is 46C - and I am towing at 100km/hr).
The Oil Pressure is a steady 250kpa (~35psi) with Mobil 1 0-30W at Hot Idle. When cruising at 2500 rpm the Oil pressure sits at just under 350kpa (~50psi).
Cold Start Oil pressure at 3,000 rpm is around 500kpa (~70psi) and the warm up during normal driving takes around 5-10min.
