The Mocal oil cooler adapter is the first and only oil cooler adapter for GM LS-series engines to incorporate a thermostat that automatically regulates oil flow to connected cooling devices. Installation is simple: units simply bolt on in place of the factory gauge sender.

• Provision for factory M12 x 1.5 sender.
• Built-in thermostat bypasses oil until 178° F and is fully open at 185° F.
• Eliminates the need for an external thermostat, oil filter relocation adapter, and associated additional lines and fittings.
• Oil is bypassed directly at the block instead of flowing through the oil cooler lines first. This means your engine receives oil quicker during start-up.
• Includes spacer required for some oil pans
• Direction of flow: Lower port is the return from the oil cooler.
• Dimensions: Approx 3.63" (w) x 2.75" (h) x 1.50" (d) (main block), 4.50" x 4.50" x 1.50" (including fittings). Spacer adds 7/16" to depth.

• For front-sump pans, must be installed at sender location at the deep part of the sump. May not clear accessories on some front-sump vehicles.
